Saquon Barkley's potential injury
Everything you need to know about Saquon Barkley's potential injury

So if you Giants fans out there, unfortunately, Saquon Barkley, incredible player for the Giants, sustained a very significant right knee injury. You can see from the injury in the video that his leg is planted. It's a little bit bent and then sustains almost a direct load through the tibia and through the knee, which just puts a lot of force through that knee joint.Although it's hard to say at this point, this could be a tibia fracture, also known as a tibial plateau fracture, meaning where you actually fracture some of the bone right at the knee joint on your tibia on. The reason for that is just the extreme amount of pain, inability to put any weight on it as he was not able to walk off the field even under his own power. The good news Giants fans for this is that if it is a fracture, thes can heal quite well. It's better than a ligament injury. It's better than ACL. And you may be able to get this player back in 12, 13, 14 weeks to resume football activities. So let's hope for the best for, say Saquon, although a pretty severe injury. We're gonna keep our fingers crossed. So it's interesting about the potential, say Saquon Barkley. Injury is that running backs from our data have a hard time coming back year one after an ACL surgery? They certainly get back. But they just don't get back to the same level as production and have anywhere from a 40 to 45% decrease in their overall productivity. That being said, if it's a fractured for, say Saquon, we expect that declined to be much less and almost negligible.
